This Tuesday, we had another great session as part of our Digital Inclusion Programme, helping people build confidence with everyday online tasks.
We started by talking about why giving feedback matters—how sharing our experiences with services can lead to real improvements. We answered questions, helped participants understand tricky online processes, and even wrote some reviews together. It was all about making sure everyone felt comfortable using the internet to share their voice.
Towards the end, we introduced something fun! Many participants mentioned how much they missed colouring for mental well-being, so we explored a digital alternative. Everyone learned how to download apps from the Play Store, and after a quick demo, they jumped right into creating their own colourful masterpieces. It was a wonderful mix of learning, creativity, and relaxation.
As always, we shared food and drinks. We also had a special reason to celebrate—Marcella, one of our wonderful residents, had a birthday! 🎉 We couldn’t let the day pass without a little celebration, so we surprised her with a cake, shared warm wishes, and enjoyed a lovely moment together.
At True Ambassadors, we believe that digital inclusion is essential for empowering communities. As an independent UK charity, we are committed to supporting people with the skills and confidence they need to navigate the digital world. We aim to create a welcoming space where everyone can learn at their own pace, ask questions, and support each other. Whether through workshops, mentoring, or hands-on support, we create opportunities for people to connect, learn, and grow.
If you know someone who could benefit from these sessions, let them know—we’d love to welcome them next time!
