On Saturday, 14th September 2024, our independent charitable organisation, True Ambassadors proudly collaborated with the Plaistow Neighbourhood Team. Together we hosted an exciting and interactive event for the community. This event marked the second day of celebrations for the British Science Festival. Held at Plaistow Library on North Street, London, the day was filled with science, magic, and learning, creating an unforgettable experience for all who attended.
Participants enjoyed a delightful and interactive magic session that captivated both children and adults. The hands-on activities allowed everyone to engage with the wonders of science in a fun and inspiring way. This sparked curiosity and excitement throughout the day.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the British Science Community Fund. Their invaluable support made this event possible. Their generosity enabled us to provide an enjoyable and educational session for residents. A special thank you also goes to Councillor Sophia Naqvi and another local councillor, who attended the event. They offered encouraging words on the importance of volunteering and serving the community.
True Ambassadors are also deeply grateful to the volunteers from STEM Ambassadors and our own team. Their dedication and hard work ensured the event ran smoothly. This allowed us to make a positive impact by fostering enthusiasm for science and community engagement.
This event was a true celebration of science, teamwork, and the spirit of community!
