At True Ambassadors, every volunteer brings a unique story and passion to our mission. Today, we’re excited to introduce our newest charity ambassador, Abisola. Her dedication and bright personality make her a fantastic addition to the team.
Abisola, or Abby as she prefers to be called, brings a wealth of experience and skills that make her a fantastic addition to our team. With a degree in English Education, she has a natural talent for communicating and connecting with people.
Beyond her studies, Abby worked as an auxiliary nurse. In this role, she gained hands-on experience helping vulnerable people with their daily needs. She also worked as an Administrative Officer, where she improved her organisational skills and became great at managing tasks efficiently. This mix of education and practical experience gives Abby the tools she needs to make a real difference in her new role with us.
Abby takes great pride in her Nigerian heritage, a culture she describes as “resilient and inventive.” She credits these traits with shaping her approach to life, helping her stay adaptable and resourceful no matter the situation. Her cultural background fuels her passion for community well-being and her drive to support others in creating a fulfilling life. For Abby, this sense of resilience and purpose is not just a personal value. It’s a way of inspiring and uplifting those around her.
Outside of work, Abby loves spending time in nature, where she finds peace and inspiration. She enjoys taking long walks outdoors, soaking in the beauty around her. She’s also a fan of medical-themed movies. They spark her curiosity about health and the human body—an interest that ties into her passion for learning and improving everyday life. And when it comes to bringing people together, Abby’s love for cooking takes centre stage. For her, food is a way to show care and strengthen community bonds.
Abby joins True Ambassadors as an Event and Administrative Manager. At this position, she will focus on planning and organising events in our community. Her favourite part of this role is working with a diverse team to create unique and unforgettable experiences. “Being able to spread happiness and positivity into someone else’s life. This is what brings me a great sense of satisfaction,” shares she, excited to channel her skills into making a lasting impact.
Abby views her position as an opportunity to grow both personally and professionally while living out her purpose of improving lives. She is eager to put her talents and dedication to work in support of our mission.
We are delighted to welcome Abby to the True Ambassadors team and look forward to the incredible contributions she will make.
